Top 10 Schools by Enrollment

Arizona State University (ASU) has the largest number of enrolled students of any four-year college, according to the most recent statistics from the U.S. Department of Education.

The federal data indicate that enrollment for ASU exceeded 72,000 students in fall 2011. Coming in second was Miami Dade College (MDC) in Florida, with more than 63,000 students enrolled.

ASU offers on-campus student housing, but MDC does not.

The nation’s top 10 four-year colleges, by enrollment:
