LulaFit, an on-site amenities manager for office and multifamily developments in Chicago, New York City, and Philadelphia, is launching a new virtual amenity platform in order to continue its services through the COVID-19 pandemic. Through LulaFit LIVE, LulaFit will provide its residents and tenants with virtual fitness and mindfulness classes, as well as social events and lifestyle experiences.
“When shutdowns began to occur, it was imperative for our business to pivot virtually to weather this pandemic,” says Colleen Werner, LulaFit CEO and founder. “Distilling our core offerings and then adding additional social activities to LulaFit LIVE have made this offering an exciting new venture for our company.”
The LulaFit LIVE program features recurring daily and weekly programming for all members of client buildings. In addition to expert-led fitness classes, the service offers nutrition livestreams, game nights, and candle-making classes, among other social events. Individual property managers can also create private and custom content using the platform.
“As office and multifamily properties adapt to amenity closures and reopening guidelines, amenity offerings and programming also needs to adjust,” says Bicé Grobstein, vice president of strategy at LulaFit. “We saw the opportunity to take our physical in-building programming and translate it digitally into a platform offering live and on-demand content from our expert team.”
Moving forward, LulaFit intends to use LulaFit LIVE to complement on-site programming.
“Our virtual amenities platform is designed to [allow] users the flexibility and convenience to engage in their community whenever, wherever. Our goal is to keep employee and tenant communities energized, inspired, and motivated,” Grobstein says. “LulaFit promises to deliver convenient and exceptional experiences that tenant communities desire while on-site, so it was critical that our virtual platform followed suit. It is now a permanent piece of our amenity activation ecosystem.”
The firm has also committed to donate $1 to Feeding America for every new LulaFit LIVE signup.
