Miami-based AHS Residential has rebranded with a new name and visual identify to support its growth and expansion across the U.S. The multifamily developer will now operate as Resia, a name that was carefully selected to communicate its “functional design, construction expertise, and dedication to its residents.”
“We have entered a new phase of our company’s evolution, and, in a competitive industry, it’s more important than ever for our brand to stand out from the pack and convey our purpose and culture,” said Ernesto Lopes, president and CEO of Resia. “This new name effectively captures our essence as a leader in the multifamily space and supports our goal of becoming a household name in the United States.”
With support from its parent company, Brazilian home builder MRV, Resia has been on a rapid expansion as part of its commitment to making a difference in the nation’s affordability crisis. It has more than 5,000 units under development in fast-growing metros in Florida, Georgia, and Texas. It also has plans for Arizona, Colorado, and Washington, D.C. According to the developer, it intends to deliver 8,000 new apartment units annually by 2025.
One of the keys to Resia’s growth, according to the developer, is its modular construction approach, which enables it to build multifamily communities 30% to 40% faster than traditional methods.
