Mason & Main, the first completed tower in the Yesler Terrace community, includes 335 units.

Lowe has announced the completion and now leasing of the first tower of Mason & Main near downtown Seattle. Set on 30 acres in the transit-oriented Yesler Terrace community, the tower contains 335 one- and two-bedroom units. At completion of the second tower later this year, the LEED Gold-certified community will total 550 units.

The homes offer modern finishes like quartz countertops, woodgrain plank flooring, and high-end appliances. Keyless entry and smart home technology will allow residents to control lighting and outlets through an app or smart speak system. Select units have private patios and balconies.

Both towers will include an array of communal spaces and amenities for residents. Co-working areas; community meeting and conference space; lounge areas; and a karaoke and screening room are offered as well as rooftop and courtyard outdoor spaces with kitchens and views of Mt. Rainier, Puget Sound, and downtown Seattle. Two fully equipped fitness centers, dog runs, a dog wash, and a community garden are additional amenities.

The apartments are part of the comprehensive redevelopment of the Yesler Terrace neighborhood, which is a combination of public and private developments for housing, office space, and other neighborhood amenities. The towers also will feature 315 parking stalls, 6,800 square feet of ground-floor retail, and a public neighborhood pocket park.

“Mason & Main was designed to honor the rich history of Seattle. We are proud members of the community and grateful for the opportunity to add much-needed housing and contribute to the vitality of the neighborhood,” says Suzi Morris, executive vice president of Lowe.

To create one of Seattle’s largest art collections in a residential setting, Lowe has commissioned custom artwork from local community artists for exterior murals and interior works. Ankrom Moisan Architects designed Mason & Main, and Compass leads as the general contractor.
