Top multifamily developer, builder, and manager The NRP Group has launched NRP Construction, a third-party division that extends the company’s in-house pre-construction and general contracting services to other multifamily owners and developers throughout Texas.

Leveraging NRP’s two decades of experience in the multifamily development industry, the new business division offers design/assist and design/build services from the earliest conceptual and design stages of a project.

ā€œThe launch of NRP Construction is a natural expansion of our core capabilities and was born out of demand from industry peers for highly specialized design/build and construction management services,ā€ said Taylor Brown, president of NRP Construction, in a statement.

ā€œOur long-standing, strong relationships with subcontractors, tradespeople, vendors, and suppliers, as well as our scale—which is unrivaled in terms of breadth and depth of talent—give us access to unparalleled pricing and workmanship, something few other multifamily developers are able to offer.ā€

Licensed in 12 states, NRP Construction aims to create value for the full spectrum of multi-unit residential construction projects, including luxury, market-rate, affordable, public-private–partnerships, student, and senior housing, in both urban and suburban settings. The division analyzes the range of adjustment options available to a multifamily owner in the interest of cost savings.

ā€œThe NRP way includes a process for checking and rechecking costs throughout a project’s phases, or what we call ā€˜taking the temperature of the deal,’ so that owners don’t find themselves committed to a value-destroying endeavor,ā€ said Dan Hull, senior vice president of NRP Construction. ā€œAny issue a developer might face, they can be sure that NRP has been down that road before.ā€

The NRP Group has delivered over 28,000 residential units over the past 20 years, and 7,000 in Texas over the past five years. The company currently manages over 17,000 units across the country.
