Vertically integrated lifestyle development firm Vero Sade has broken ground on two multifamily projects in the San Antonio metro. Both expected to deliver by mid-2024, Vero Sade’s Bulverde Oaks community will offer 444 garden-style units and Cibolo will bring a 288-unit mid-rise to Cibolo Commons.
“It is incredibly exciting to see our first projects come out of the ground in San Antonio, a city that feels like a second home to me,” says Dan Bassichis, co-founder of Vero Sade. “For the last 20 years, I’ve had the honor of working with David Robinson and some of the city’s philanthropic leaders to support The Carver Academy and now Idea Public Schools and have seen so much development and momentum in San Antonio. We are building communities that will complement the city’s growth and deliver a vibrant and elevated residential environment.”
The Bulverde Oaks and Cibolo properties will offer luxe amenities signature of Vero Sade’s lifestyle living brand. Both will have by a 12,000-square-foot club facility with an entertainment space, an elevated café, a resort-style pool with cabanas, and an indoor/outdoor fitness facility. The 4,500-square-foot gym will be outfitted with personal training services, ultra-premium Techno Gym equipment, progressive indoor and outdoor classes, plus nearby running paths and hiking trails. Both communities will also feature connection-driven programming.
“San Antonio is quickly outpacing many multifamily markets nationwide as the metro continues to draw an influx of sophisticated workforce talent,” says Yoni Sade, co-founder of Vero Sade. “The high levels of in-migration have set the stage for Vero Sade to introduce its elevated residential concept to this booming area and its discerning consumer base. We are excited to unveil inspired, experiential living environments that are centered around connection, which will especially benefit those that are new to San Antonio.”
Both Bulverde Oaks and Cibolo will have one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans, averaging just under 1,000 square feet with linear designs that allow for ample glazing and natural light for the interiors. Ground-level homes will offer walk-out terraces with a patio and fenced yard space, and the floors above will have balconies. A percentage of units in both locations will be furnished and equipped for short-term needs.
“We’ve taken a unique approach to the design and layout, which will be cornerstone of all Vero Sade properties,” adds Sade. “From the entry foyer and the chef-inspired kitchen to the abundance of natural light from the wall-to-wall windows, our homes boast the feeling and flow of a single-family residence.”
Prior to the start of construction, Vero Sade evaluated the existing trees on the site, ultimately saving 200 trees at the Bulverde Oaks project. Vero Sade also discovered an abundance of rock on site that is being repurposed into the design. The landscape plans at both properties exclusively include native vegetation to offset water consumption costs.
In addition to the San Antonio projects, Vero Sade’s growing pipeline includes $2 billion in residential development and approximately 4,500 multifamily units planned across Dallas, Houston, and Orlando.
