Crescent Communities has announced plans for a multifamily community in Morrisville, North Carolina. Just outside of Raleigh, NOVEL Morrisville will include 336 residences and LTH Coffee & Social located within a walkable master-planned community.

“We are thrilled to bring another community to the Triangle,” says Michael Tubridy, senior managing director, Carolinas and Tennessee, for Crescent Communities. “Morrisville has seen incredible commercial growth over the past few years, and we are excited to bring a much-needed residential offering to this rapidly expanding area. The project team worked very hard pushing the envelope on the design of NOVEL Morrisville, and we are pleased to see our vision come one step closer to reality.”

The 336 for-rent residences will be comprised of 10 townhomes as well as studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes. The units’ high-end finishes include mud benches, smart apartment technology, and Samsung appliances. The community will include a pool, a club room, a two-story fitness center, a private lounge, a co-working space, and additional interior and exterior amenity spaces.

The LTH Coffee & Social at NOVEL Morrisville will be open to both residents and the public. It will create a meeting spot for residents and community members to enjoy food and beverages. Adjacent to Apple’s upcoming campus at Research Triangle Park, Lake Crabtree, Perimeter Park, and the RDU airport, the community within the master plan is anchored by the Wake Competition Center sports complex.

U.S. Bank, GID, Hord Coplan Macht, and Kimley-Horn all serve as partners for the project. “With NOVEL Morrisville, Crescent Communities will offer distinct and well-designed apartments that will elevate the neighborhood,” says Greg Bates, president and CEO of GID. “Their mission aligns with GID’s aim to create impactful communities that seamlessly integrate with the surrounding region, and we are excited to partner with Crescent on our first project in Raleigh.”

NOVEL Morrisville’s development highlights Crescent Communities’ commitment to growing in the Triangle market. It will bethe developer’s fifth residential investment in the area.
