Today, Hudson Yards unveiled the Related Companies development‘s most luxe offering yet: 143 boutique residences starting on the 53rd floor of a glass and limestone tower designed by David Childs and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.
Perched 1,000 feet in the air above the world’s first Equinox hotel in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan, N.Y., the two- to six- bedroom condominium residences will offer panoramic views of the Hudson River, Manhattan skyline, the Hudson Yards Public Square and Gardens, and a centerpiece climbable structure dubbed Vessel.

The glass-walled residences range in size from 1,500 to 10,000 square feet, and are fitted with gallery-style entry foyers designed to accommodate works of art. Living, sleeping, and eating areas—helmed by interior designer Tony Ingrao—reach eleven feet in height.

Each master suite features walk-in closets, and each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. In the master baths, freestanding tubs and are placed beside oversized windows that capture views of the Hudson River.

Kitchens feature Gaggenau appliances and opal white marble countertops. Smoked oak flooring contrasts with gloss-stained and lacquered Eucalyptus wood and American Black Walnut core cabinetry, which Ingrao designed in collaboration with Smallbone of Devizes.

In addition to memberships at a 60,000-square-foot Equinox Fitness Club and Spa and SoulCycle, residents and their guests will be offered access to 22,000 square feet of wellness, leisure, and entertainment amenities; The building offers a yoga studio, a corner lounge with billiard table, golf simulator lounge with minibars, private office suites, screening room, library, private dining room and children’s playroom. The 24th floor offers a west-facing terrace and dining room that can host seated events for more than 50 guests.
Priority reservations at the in-building culinary offerings, which includes a new restaurant concept by Stephen Starr, are coordinated by a dedicated Director of Residences, who will liaise with the hotel to handle in-residence dining, valet and laundry services, private car and ground transportation, and bookings.

35 Hudson Yards, which will begin selling units on March 15, is the second building in the new neighborhood to offer for-sale residences. 15 Hudson Yards, designed Diller Scofidio + Renfro in collaboration with Rockwell Group, is currently 60 percent sold. The residences at 35 Hudson Yards will be priced from $5 million.
