With the first wave of baby boomers entering the 55-plus active adult market, it’s important to provide the right mixes of service and style. Mirasol at Celebration, part of the traditional neighborhood development of Celebration in Orlando, Fla., was designed and constructed to specifically target this exploding market of active seniors who seek a highly finished home, grade-A amenities, and superior service.
The developer interviewed active seniors to get direct feedback on what design elements, unit features, and amenities they desire in their new home. The result: a community that offers custom-home finishes, average unit size of 1,600 square feet, eat-in kitchens with windows, walk-in showers and dual vanities in master baths, raised electrical outlets, and elevator service to most units.
The Mediterranean resort-like community includes massage and day spa staff and personal trainers.
