Built at a prominent intersection, Pierpont at City Crossing serves as a “gateway” landmark to downtown New Haven, Connecticut. With heightened focus on the intersection’s corner, the mid-rise’s architectural design emphasizes a taller structure that is visible for several blocks. To complement the surrounding buildings, Pierpont’s exterior is dressed in neutral tones with accenting wood tones and textures.

In contrast to its neutral exterior, Pierpont’s shared interiors reflect the vibrant art and culinary mecca that New Haven is known as. Splashes of color are found throughout the community spaces and luxury amenities. Created for urban dwellers, the building, which includes two courtyards and a rooftop terrace, offers a mix of junior, one-bedroom, one-bedroom with den, and two-bedroom apartments.

The residences’ unique, mostly angled floor plans—formed by the lot’s irregular shape—include 9-foot ceilings; luxury wood plank vinyl flooring in living areas; energy-efficient appliances; custom cabinetry; quartz countertops; porcelain tile bathrooms with walk-in showers and frameless glass doors; natural light; and in-unit laundry. Select units include patios or balconies, kitchen islands, and breakfast bars.

Beyond the spacious apartments, “The goal of the property was to bring activities you would find outside inside the property, so you don’t have to leave your apartment to experience New Haven,” the project application reads. Residents can enjoy a pool on the rooftop terrace with grilling stations and private cabanas; an entertainment lounge with a high-definition multisport simulator; a two-lane bowling alley; various gaming options; a 24-hour fitness center; a salt meditation room; a tiered screening room; an outdoor movie screen with terraced seating and fire pits; five private conference or study rooms; a demo kitchen; and a children’s playroom, among other amenities.
