Scottsdale, Ariz.-based private equity firm and developer The Wolff Company announced that it will soon break ground on Revel AmberGlen, an independent senior living community in Hillsboro, Ore. The contemporary-style, four-story property will offer 140 studio, one- and two-bedroom residences.
Revel AmberGlen includes secured underground parking with elevator access. Residents will have access to wellness amenities such as a private-access fitness and yoga studio, full-service salon and spa, art studio, and indoor swimming pool. The community will also include several restaurants with seasonal menus from Food Network star Beau MacMillan.
Located just outside Beaverton and Portland, Revel AmberGlen is adjacent to Hillsboro’s 14-acre AmberGlen Park. Community residents will have access to outdoor recreation, unique retail, local restaurants, microbreweries, and new community centers in the area.
“Nationwide, and in places like Hillsboro, there is an underserved and growing market of renters aged 55+ looking for a convenient, upscale, lock-and-leave lifestyle,” Mike Milhaupt, Wolff Co. vice president of senior housing, said in a statement. “Revel AmberGlen will give prospective residents a higher quality senior living option where choices have previously been limited.”
Revel AmberGlen is expected to open in 2020.
