Richard Castillo and William Koster have been named principals at MVE & Partners. In this expanded role, Castillo and Koster will manage and oversee the technical and project delivery processes for the firm’s Irvine, Calif., office and will participate in the company’s overall management.

WRH Realty Services has added two regional directors to its staff. April Royal, who will oversee eight properties in the Dallas/Fort Worth area totaling more than 2,500 units, has more than 15 years of multifamily experience. Melissa M. Miller, who will oversee seven properties in the Jacksonville, Fla., area totaling nearly 2,000 units, has 13 years of multifamily experience.

Forum Architecture & Interior Design has announced two promotions. Alan Wolfe is now director of architecture, a role in which he will oversee the process of planning, programming, scheduling, and administration of every project. Alan VanDevender is now director of quality control and will promote quality processes and standards within the firm.

Beacon Realty Capital has hired two new assistant vice presidents: Rose Marchuk and Kashan Kirk. Prior to joining Beacon, Marchuk was a broker associate with Koenig & Strey GMAC Real Estate, and Kirk was a residential and commercial real estate mortgage broker in the Seattle area.

Mark Petersen has been named senior vice president, property investments, at BRE Properties. In this newly created executive management position, he will be responsible for originating joint venture investments in BRE’s noncore Western markets, such as Phoenix and Denver. In addition, Petersen will continue to lead the origination of property investments in BRE’s core California and Seattle markets.

Kris Kelley has been named regional supervisor of the student housing division of Asset Campus Housing, where he oversees a portfolio of properties comprising more than 3,000 beds and also is responsible for on-site evaluations and marketing. Previously, he was with American Campus Communities.

John Hagner has been appointed as the practice group leader of the Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice’s real estate development practice group. Hagner is a member in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office.

Jonathan M. Gross has joined the Reznick Group as a principal. He will lead the Charlotte, N.C., office real estate advisory practice and will have responsibility for consulting with investors, developers, general partners, and community development entities on all aspects of their real estate transactions.

Dwayne Walker , a regional partner and COO of Altman Development of central Florida, has been selected to lead Altman Cos.’ new regional development office in Orlando. Joining him will be Kurt Kehoe as vice president of development.

Signature World wide has announced two additions to its staff. Ray Taylor has been named senior vice president of sales and will lead Signature’s sales team in the hospitality, multifamily housing, financial services, and trucking industries. John Ely has been named senior vice president of marketing and will develop, implement and evaluate strategic marketing and corporate growth plans for Signature.

BankFinancial Corp. has promoted John Manos to regional president, commercial lending, Southern region for BankFinancial. Manos joined BankFinancial in 1999 as assistant vice president, multifamily lending, and has held various officer level positions since then, most recently regional senior vice president, commercial lending.

John Okura has joined Jamboree Housing Corp. as a senior project manager, bringing the development team for this nonprofit housing developer to a staff of nine. Prior to joining JHC, Okura served as senior project manager at LINC Housing Services.
