With the multifamily industry still feeling the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the financial downturn as well as a new administration at the helm in Washington, D.C., Multifamily Executive and its parent company, Zonda, have launched its 2021 event series to help provide the critical insight to address today’s challenges and prepare for what’s coming down the road.
While we plan to be back live for the annual Multifamily Executive Conference, Sept. 13 to 15, at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, Multifamily Executive also will hold two virtual events in the first half of the year.
Our 2021 Multifamily Leadership Summit, in partnership with the National Multifamily Housing Council, will bring together developers, owners, and property managers to share their best practices on how they have continued to be resilient during these challenging times. This virtual event will be held March 9 to 10.
Rommel Anacan, president of The Relationship Difference, will kick off the Summit with his keynote presentation, providing tips and strategies to lead multifamily companies through any type of market conditions.
Other featured speakers include economic experts John Sebree, senior vice president of Marcus & Millichap’s multifamily division, and JLL chief economist Ryan Severino discussing the short-term view for the industry one year after COVID-19 lockdown orders; Gables Residential CEO Sue Ansel and LMC president Todd Farrell sharing their response strategies to the most recent market swings; and Hamilton Zanze president and chief investment officer Kurt Houtkooper, Camden Living chairman and CEO Ric Campo, Legacy Partners president Guy Hays, and Crescent Communities president and chief operating officer Brian Natwick revealing how they’re approaching today’s market and what they’re doing to prepare for tomorrow.
Then, May 25 to 26, we will take a deep dive into how technology is impacting every aspect of the multifamily experience—from design and development to resident experience.
The virtual events are $99 each or complimentary if you register for the in-person Multifamily Executive Conference in September; the early-bird rate of $999 for regular attendees or $899 for nonprofit attendees expires Aug. 13.
Attendance is reserved exclusively for multifamily industry property executives, developers, architects, builders, and other real estate executives. Visit www.mfeconference.com to register and for more details about our multifamily events.
