US Residential Group, a national fee-based multifamily manager, has combined its business operations with those of Resource Residential, a former business unit of Resource America. The newly merged company now manages about 43,000 units across 200 properties in 30 states with a staff of over 1,100 associates.
The company’s executive management team is led by US Residential president Stephanie Brock and is supported by COO Loyal Proffitt, chief administrative officer Kelli Tomczak, chief people officer Caydee McCormick, and executive vice president and former CEO of Resource Residential Mark Poston.
The merging of US Residential and Resource Residential is expected to deliver a diverse suite of property management, construction management, redevelopment, and lease-up solutions for the new company’s owned and operated properties. US Residential is also well positioned for growth through third-party management contracts and with affiliate investment management businesses.
“The combination of our business with Resource Residential is a transformative milestone for both organizations, and we look forward to collectively harnessing the talent and power of this new company to create exceptional experiences for our associates, clients, and residents,” Brock said in a release. “Through our expanded geographic footprint and newly combined platform, we will provide property management solutions to an even broader array of clientele. From coast to coast, from high-rise to garden apartments, from marketing and leasing to property repositioning, the US Residential team can meet your every need wherever you need us.”
US Residential Group is a subsidiary of C-III Capital Partners, which acquired Resource America in September 2016. The US Residential and Resource Residential brand names will continue independently until property-level transitions are complete.
