January Jobs: Construction Adds; Architecture and Engineering Loses
In the BLS’s first employment report of 2013, the economy added 157,000 jobs. The architectural and engineering services sector was down 300 jobs, but the construction industry added 28,000 new jobs for the month and nearly 300,000 in the past year.
