Sperry Van Ness is expanding. In Asheville, N.C., the firm added Richard Whitney as senior adviser and John Minor as an adviser. Whitney specializes in the sale, leasing, and management of office, retail, and multifamily investment properties as well as land for commercial development in western North Carolina. Previously, he was president and CEO of Whitney Commercial. Minor has recently joined Sperry to specialize in the sale of multifamily properties in North Carolina.
In San Francisco, Sperry has added Mark Cunningham, Harry Altick, Chad Kimerer, and Daniel Dabkoski as senior advisers. Jason Ortega and Joe Joffe will serve as associate advisers. Cunningham specializes in the sale of multifamily properties in the San Francisco Bay and Central Valley areas. Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, he was president and owner of Commercial Realty Group. Altick has more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience, specializing in multifamily and commercial properties in the San Francisco Bay area. Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, he worked as a broker for Commercial Realty Group. Kimerer specializes in the sale of multifamily properties in the North Bay, East Bay, and up the I-80 corridor into Sacramento. Previously, he worked as a broker with Commercial Realty Group. Dabkoski specializes in the sale of multifamily properties inthe Sacramento and Central Valley areas, with more than 50 closings in the last 36 months. He previously worked as a broker with Commercial Realty Group.
And, in Dallas and Fort Worth, Sperry has named Heather Konopka senior adviser. With nearly 10 years of commercial real estate experience, Konopka specializes in the sale of retail and multifamily properties. Previously, she was a commercial specialist at Keller Williams DFW Commercial, where she was responsible for leading the commercial division.
