Wood Partners, Dezer Properties, and Donald J. Trump are developing Trump Towers Atlanta, a $300 million luxury condominium community in Atlanta with 20,000 square feet of retail space. The 563-unit project will be built in two phases; phase one will be a 47-story tower with 363 units, and phase two will be a 38-story tower with 200 units. The units, which are priced from $400,000 to $1.3 million, will feature 10-foot ceilings, 8-foot doors, semi-private elevators, and residential terraces in the penthouses. Amenities will include a club lounge and outdoor pool and a fitness center overlooking the pool.
Trillium Residential is developing Trillium Cave Creek, a 292-unit luxury rental community in Tempe, Ariz. The one-, two-, and three-bedroom units will range from 828 square feet to 1,391 square feet. The property will feature Trillium’s signature two-story great room and discovery center with billiards, seating areas, concierge services, theater, and a sports bar; plus a fitness center and demonstration kitchen. The project, which is one of eight Trillium communities being planned and developed in the Phoenix metro area, is expected to open this winter.
IP Loft Partners is developing 870 Inman, a 108-unit condo community in Atlanta’s Inman Park neighborhood. The one- and two-bedroom units start in the $180,000s and the $290,000s, respectively, and will feature granite countertops with metallic backsplashes, stainless steel appliances, 10-foot ceilings, and separate tubs and showers. Amenities will include a pool with a sundeck and cabanas, controlled access parking, fitness center, and resident lounge.
Martin Fein Interests and BlackRock Realty are developing four apartment communities in large-scale master-planned residential communities in suburban Houston with an approximate value of $100 million. Projects currently under development include the 270-unit Gateway at Sienna Plantation Apartment Homes in the Sienna Plantation community in Missouri City; the 204-unit Sorrento at Tuscan Lakes Apartment Homes in the Tuscan Lakes community in League City; and the 246-unit Cascade at Fall Creek Apartment Homes in the Fall Creek community in Humble.
McShane Construction Corp. is building The Blue Stem Condominiums, a 46-unit community in Hillside, Ill., a Chicago suburb. The project, developed by JSG Development, incorporates a precast structure accented by brick veneer and architectural wood cladding. The two- and three-bedroom units feature terraces.
Stratland Homes has opened Wellington Greene, a 36-unit luxury condo community in Port Chester, N.Y. The two-bedroom units average 1,200 square feet and start at $395,000. Amenities include a library, community room, billiards room, and fitness center. L&M DESIGN designed the project.
Canyon-Johnson Urban Fund and mFm Construction Corp. are developing Morrison, a mixed-use project in Miami’s Little Havana to include 395 units geared toward the workforce market and first-time homebuyers. The one- and two-bedroom units will feature European-style cabinetry, granite countertops, and balconies. The community will also include more than 30,000 square feet of retail, 34,000 square feet of office space, and 667 parking spaces. Morrison is expected to open in the spring of 2009.
Arbor Building Group has broken ground on Sunrise Monterey, a 97-unit senior living community in Monterey, Calif., being developed by Sunrise Senior Living. The community will feature a memory impaired neighborhood, commercial kitchen and laundry facilities, bistro, salon, and spa. The building will wrap around the site’s sloping hills and mature trees.
Urban Housing Group and AIG Global Real Estate have broken ground on 555 Mission Rock, a $95 million mixed-use project in San Francisco to include 192 apartment units and approximately 10,000 square feet of ground floor retail space. The one- and two-bedroom units will feature maple cabinetry, broadband wiring, washers and dryers, and 9-foot ceilings. Amenities will include a 3,000-square-foot community building, a landscaped courtyard with a fireplace and sundeck, and demonstration kitchen.
Makar Properties is developing Pacific City, a 31-acre oceanfront mixed-use development in Huntington Beach, Calif., to include 516 luxury condos, high-end retail, dining and entertainment, office space, and a boutique hotel. The project will link the city’s two resorts, Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa and the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort, with the city pier and the downtown district. KTGY Group is the designer.
