- Criterion Development Partners has developed Windsor Green at Andover, a 191-unit apartment community in Andover, Mass. The garden-style complex, designed by L&M DESIGN, features one-, two-, and three-bedroom units ranging from 692 square feet to 1,243 square feet. Amenities include a pool, spa, sport court, and tot lot.
- Capital Investment Group has broken ground on South Shore, a $165 million mixed-use development in Newport, Ky. The first phase includes a 21-story glass tower with 17 stories of condos atop a four-story parking complex. The 70 units in phase one will range in size from approximately 1,150 square feet to 7,000 square feet with prices starting at $400,000. The community will include a yacht club marina built on 1,000 feet of the Ohio River shoreline.
- The Related Group is developing CityPlace Buckhead, a nine-tower, 3,800-unit condo development in Atlanta. Phase one, One CityPlace, is a 29-story tower with 230 condo units and 11 townhomes. The one-, two-, and three-bedroom units range from the $400,000s to more than $1 million for the penthouse and townhouse units. Construction of phase one is set to begin in October with completion scheduled for 2009.
- Shmuel Jonas is developing Riverstone, a 26-unit luxury condominium community in Riverdale, N.Y. The two- to five-bedroom units will feature floor-to-ceiling windows, high ceilings, custom moldings, and Cumaru-Brazilian teak hardwood floors. Amenities will include a pool and spa, fitness center, conference center, theater, and roof deck. Halstead Property Development Marketing is serving as the exclusive marketing agent.
- The World-Wide Group has broken ground on 255 East 74th Street, an 87-unit, 30-story high-rise in New York City‘s Upper East Side. The three-, four- and five-bedroom units will feature playrooms (in the larger units), Sub-Zero refrigerators/freezers, Miele stainless steel kitchen appliances, and radiant floor heating in the bathrooms. Amenities at this family-friendly community will include a toddler room with a cruising wall, a game room with an arcade zone, and a 1,500 square foot outdoor tot lot.
